Additional functions

The Nook has two-page turn buttons on the left and right sides of the screen. There is a very small area between the 2 buttons. When you are reading an ebook, you can turn pages by holding the top button and go back by holding down the bottom one.
On the right side is a clock that expresses the current time, a light bulb icon to control the brightness, a WIFI symbol, and how much battery life is remaining.
